1948
The foundation of Münch Chemie Labor through Dr. Adolf Münch. Research and product development are based on the requirements of the Freudenberg group conglomerate.

1958
The development and distribution of cleaners, release agents and wetting agents define the focus of our primary market activity.

1981
The company's name is being rebranded to Münch Chemie Labor GmbH.

1990
Wilhelm Münch takes over the chief executive position of the company.

1994
The sales department undergoes a structured reorganization to provide our field staff worldwide access to the open market.

2001
Münch Chemie expands its market activity to deploy product for the industry sector of pressure die casting applications.

2002
The company's name is being rebranded to Münch Chemie International GmbH.

2003
The company's quality management systems evolves to a new ISO-certified standard, to be replaced with the ISO 9001:2000 management system by the end of the year.

2005
Münch Chemie expands its geographical market activity across Europe, Eastern Europe and beyond.

2006
Michael Münch obtains statutory authority over the company.
Further expansion of the distribution network triggered to henceforward span across Western Europe and the CIS-states. The expansion of the key market enables the company to increase their annual turnaround by as much as twenty percent, whereas employees have been hired accordingly.

2007
The company's quality management system is from now on to be accompanied by a certified environmental management system, ISO 14001:2005, valid as of November 2007.

2008
Corporate reorganization to reevaluate and focus on the company's core competences.

2009
Strengthening the R&D-department by hiring additional employees and signing cooperative treaties with scientific institutes for mutual benefit.

2010
The business segment of "semi-permanent release agents for GRP (GFK/CFK)" has been replenished with environmentally-aware product solutions to fit a global change of customer demand. Water-based release agents find their designated application fields in the fabrication of fan blades, aerospace appliances as well as automotive suppliers and composite material processing industries.
