Release Agent MK-2500

Application: Release Agents

Release Agent MK-2500 is a water-based release agent concentrate, forming a coherent release film on the mould. Though this film is micro-thin, it is very resistant after cure, even to abrasive materials and temperatures higher than 200°C.

Release Agent MK-2500 develops a strong chemical bonding to most mould materials, thus provides multiple releases per application. Release Agent MK-2500 does not transfer to the moulded parts, allowing further processing like varnishing or gluing without subsequent treatment. Build-up on the moulds caused by depositions of pigments, anti-aging agents, resin residues etc. is reduced considerably.

Dilutions of Release Agent MK-2500 are suited as a release agent for the processing of all rubber types except silicone-rubber.Release Agent MK-2500 can be diluted up to 1:100 with water. The use of demineralized water is highly recommended.
