Lubricant MK-YG/11

Lubricant MK-YG/11 is a water-based "ready-to-use" lubricant, especially developped as a mounting lubricant for the mounting of tires onto rims.

Lubricant MK-YG/11 is silicone-, solvent- and soap-free and provides very good slip properties when mounting tires on the rim, without leading to an undesired rim slip during inspection of the tire.

When using MK-YG/11 for tire uniformity measurement, reproducability of the measured values is at the optimum (ex. 5x5 test). By eliminating soap from the formulation an almost neutral pH-value can be guaranteed. In that way corrosion can be prevented. The maintenance intervals for sealings in the supply pipes can be extended, since those will not be attacked by an alcalic medium anymore.

Lubricant MK-YG/11 is suitable as a mounting lubricant for all tire- and rim- types.
