Münch Chemie International GmbH awarded “silver” rating from EcoVadis for sustainability
Münch Chemie International GmbH has been awarded a silver medal for its company’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) management system performance by the independent, world-renowned sustainability assessment platform EcoVadis.
With this silver medal status, Münch Chemie belongs to the top 30% of all companies worldwide assessed by EcoVadis and to the top 16% of companies in the manufacture of other chemical products.
About EcoVadis:
The objective of the EcoVadis methodology is to measure the performance of a company’s CSR management system through its policies, actions and results.
The assessment focuses on 21 CSR criteria that are grouped into four themes: Environment, Labor & Human Rights, Ethics and Sustainable Procurement. These criteria are based on international CSR standards such as the Ten Principles of the UN Global Compact, the International Labour Organization conventions, the Global Reporting Initiative standards, the ISO 26000 standard, the CERES Roadmap, and the UN Guiding Principles on Business and Human Rights.
