Münch Chemie presents its latest product development for the tire industry: Outside Lube OP-1548/1.

OP-1548/1 is a water-based, clear, completely free of carbon black and solvent-free outside lube that has been specifically developed for the tire industry to treat the surface of the green tire with a high quality lubricant. Barcode labels and colour markings remain legible before and after curing.

The product shows good effect especially with regard to venting, release and flow properties during the vulcanisation of the tires.

Moreover, a significant reduction of the build-up on the moulds can be observed.

The special properties of Outside Lube OP-1548/1 during the vulcanisation process prevent knit-lines and other visual defects from appearing.

OP-1548/1 is suitable for the production of all types of tires.
